"link to existing content" uncorrects link

  Whenever I enter the destination url then the title, without even trying to use the “or link to existing content” option, it auto-corrects the url, and it always auto-corrects to the wrong url.

  Particularly inexplicably, it auto-corrects to irrelevant posts; and obviously annoyingly, whenever I add a link without thinking, the new rubbish link then enters in the media library.

  Is it a problem, or do I have to close the “link to existing content” bit every time I want to insert a link?
