  Recently, I discovered that WordPress will announce my new posts on Facebook, a neat feature! However, the majority of my posts evolve through 6 or 8 editions during an 8-hour period BEFORE they are really finished. Unfortunately, Facebook only receives the very first edition of the post. I tried to remove that announcement from my FB page to no avail. The “refresh” button also has no effect. Even if I try to add a new announcement to my FB page with a new link to the new edition of the WP post, the old post still shows up on FB (as if it were cached. So I disabled this feature. Can I manually announce a new WP post onto FB, once the post has been finalized?

  Sure! What you can do is add the Facebook Sharing button by going to Settings > Sharing in your Dashboard. Drag the Facebook button from the Available Services section to the Enabled Services section. This will add the Facebook button to the bottom of every post.

  Then when you click that button it will manually share that post on Facebook.
