Link to Facebook all screwed up

Hi, a member wanted to post a link to this page, and this is the text it showed. We tried both pasting the link into Facebook AND using the Facebook link on the page, and neither one works, and this page is Public, NOT password or protected, so I do not know why this is showing. What should show is text that would make someone on Facebook want to read my blog. Here is what is showing:

Hi there,
It looks like someone attempted to share that link while it was password protected. Facebook keeps a cache of links and does not fetch new information every time you share a URL, so if you put in a link which has already been shared, it just displays the old information.
There is however a way to get Facebook to pull the information again, which I’ve gone ahead and done for you. If you re-share your link it should pull up the right information!

Hi, no, he tried sharing it yesterday, and it had been public for a week or more. But thank you for fixing it, I’ll try it now.
Could you tell me how you get Facebook to update it’s cache?

Facebook has a page wherein you can debug URLs which they’ve made available for developers. It doesn’t always work, but it usually does. You can find it here:
