Link to http://jericho777.wordpress.com says blog no longer available?!

  I shut down my blog Jericho777 last year August I believe due to an illness…
  On January 9th this year, I created another blog under the same blog name, Jericho777.
  The link I have; http://jericho777.wordpress.com is directing followers to a page that says it is no longer available…
  I had not foreseen any problem with my using the same name blog name as I thought my shutting down my blog last year, would had surely been gone by now, or had been deleted…
  I now believe I may have made a mistake doing so, and is there a remedy for this?
  Followers however, can link up to posted stories, but again, if I send them a direct link to Jericho777, it redirects them to the aforesaid page mentioned.

  I’m sorry, but deleted blogs cannot be restored or reused. Deleting a blog is permanent and the name cannot be used again.

  There are several warnings about this on the Tools -> Delete Site page and in the help pages, and you are required to confirm the deletion by email. More information is here:

  You can start a new blog by logging in to WordPress.com and then going to this link:

  Really appreciate this…I must have overlooked this, it just didn’t register at the time…Can I transfer my post from Jericho777 to the new blog?

  The deleted blog itself cannot be restored, that also includes the posts on that blog.
