link to image on my own server
-
first time poster here … (never figured I would need to) .. but I’m kinda stuck here with this issue.. I just got done with some testing and I THINK .. I’m having issues with links to images that have spaces in the name… the image names can not be changed because they get auto uploaded to my server and need to be displayed. So .. since I discovered this shortly after creating my account to post.. so I guess at this point I’m asking is there a work around or an addon for this? .. its such a minor issue, everyone should know not to put spaces in there file names… but it appears I’m runnin into it.
if there is questions about the History of this issue .. it started with a PNG file not working.. but I quickly realized it was the space in the file.. cause after removing it .. the image correctly showed up in the post.
for those who dont know … spaces in files/urls show up as %20 in a url .. and yes the image url includes that ..
Any help on this issue would be great.. need someone to bounce ideas off of

Hi. From what you said (uploading images to your own server) I’m practically certain your blog is not a WordPress.com one but a self-hosted WordPress.ORG site. You’re on the wrong forum and our answers will not apply to self-hosted blogs. Please follow the links the helpful SupportBot directs you to…
…unless of course you can provide us with the address of your WordPress.com blog. :-)
