Link to Image URL

I am trying to add a photo from Picasa to my post. When I click on ADD Media, I am taken to the Insert Media Screen. Here I Click From URL. I understand a box should show up, where I can paste the address to my photo in Picasa, but nothing shows up except a Select Files box where I can find them on my computer. There is no place to paste the URL.

The URL link box in ADD MEDIA has disappeared! And, using the INSERT LINK in the visual post is also NOT working!!

from URL doesn’t work but you can still add an image using the text editor (via [img] button)

Thank you. What I would really like to do is create a blog through any host that will take my upload a photo album as thumbnails that can be enlarged on the same page either by rolling over them or by clicking on them, and that also have a caption appear when they are enlarged. I would like to do this using picasa as my base for photo management. I can’t find a blog that I can do this with… I thought this would be easier?

Picasa is optimized for Google, because Google owns it. What you are describing is doable here, but only for images hosted here, not for ones hosted at Picasa.
