Is there a way to connect my site to a local web development software such as Coda ? The setup is as follows:
Server: http://managedpsychiatriccare.wordpress.com
User: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Password: *******
Initial path: not sure what goes here, but it says optional
Port: 80
WebDAVBut when I enter the information, it does not seem to want to connect to the site. Any suggestions ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
This isn’t a possibility for sites hosted here on our servers at WordPress.com. All development of your site would take place when you log into your account at WordPress.com and visit your site.
If you’d like to use a different type of software, you can opt to self-host a WordPress.org site. This will give you more freedom to develop your site locally. If you’re not familiar with the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, this should help:
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!

Thanks Robyn,
That is what I originally thought and no problem. I don’t mind editing on the site itself. Do have a few other issues I am trying to resolve.
The contact section….When I sue the predefined one from WP, it adds my name to the name field – how can I remove that. Also I am using ZOHO as my CRM and they have a nice script that integrates the contact form to populate the CRM DB. But when I enter the script, I get some of the form and then there is a bunch of code below it – i.e.: the integration is not working. Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Hey Shai! Answers to your questions below…
The contact section….
When I sue the predefined one from WP, it adds my name to the name field – how can I remove that. You are the only one who sees your name in the field of your contact form. it’s because you’re logged into WordPress.com. Nobody else will see this. If one of your visitors is logged into his WordPress.com account, his own contact information will autofill instead. If a visitor is not a WordPress.com user, or is a user who is not logged in, the fields will not auto-populate.
Also I am using ZOHO as my CRM and they have a nice script that integrates the contact form to populate the CRM DB. But when I enter the script, I get some of the form and then there is a bunch of code below it – i.e.: the integration is not working. Any suggestions ?
Third party code cannot be installed on WordPress.com sites. This is a security risk as we cannot vet all outside code and it puts our users, their sites, and our servers at risk. You’re probably already seeing this — if such code is added to a WordPress.com post or page, it will be stripped upon saving.
You can certainly collect your visitors’ information with contact forms. They can also subscribe to follow your site.
Here’s information about how subscriptions work on WordPress.com sites:
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
