link to my book on Amazon.com

I always put a link to my book on Amazon on each post on my WordPress.com blog. In the past, this link showed up as a picture of my book which readers could click on to get to the page where my book is sold on Amazon.com. Recently, the picture of my book is no longer showing. All readers see is the rather long link. The link still works to take them to the page where my book is sold on Amazon. But I would like the link to show up as a picture of the book. Is there a special link I should be using to show the picture of the book? Here is a copy of the link as I put it on the blog:

I have been having the same problem. WordPress is no longer doing their image lookup and substitution for the link, it appears. (The link itself is just a link, and wouldn’t necessarily display the image by itself.)

I am new to WordPress, but my solution was to use the Image Widget in my side bar.
Here is the process:
Added my book cover image to Media and copied the URL
Went to Customize/Widgets/Sidebar then added Image Widget
Pasted the book cover image URL into the Image URL box
Went to Amazon and copied the URL for my book
Navigated back to the Image Widget
Pasted the Amazon URL into the Link URL boxYou can visit my site at confidentinthekitchen.com to see how it looks and feels.
