link to page does not work if not logged in

The previous post on this does not appear to be resolved – and I am having the same problem. On one page, none of the thumbnail links will work – they open a new page, but the image isn’t available supposedly. On the other page that I’m having the issue, you can click on the thumbnail as often as you like, nothing happens at all – and on that one it’s only one image on the page, and it used to work fine.

Can you copy and paste here each of those links for us to look at, both from the page that works and from the one that doesn’t? There may be minor differences.
Also: is the image hosted on a private blog?

In the end I had to remove the images entirely and upload them again – unfortunately, I only had thumbnail images for the older images, so I’ll have to pull the CD from my storage and reupload the full sized ones. I am told by another friend who has a wordpress page that this has happened to him in the past – he’s the one who told me how he fixed it. Surely this shouldn’t be happening regularly, should it?

No, it certainly should not. You may want to report it to staff on Monday via the Support button on your dashboard. Include as many specifics as you can; if it’s happening to lots of blogs, they’ll want to examine the cause.
