Link to place on current page

How do I get a link to scroll to another place on the current page?

The Links description says ” A link is a word, group of words, or image that you can click on to go to a new page or a new section within the current page.”…but I don’t see the explanation on how to do this.

For example, I want to list each month (January, February, etc) across the top of a page and then create a link on each of them that will cause the page to scroll down to where the word “January” or February” appears next.

    Thanks for the great support!

    Hi there,

What you’re talking about are called “anchor links,” otherwise known as “page jumps.”

We’ve got an article all about how to make them right here:

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks…the page jumps work perfectly.

But..the “go back to the top” code does not seem to work as I’d expect. It does not go back to the list of months. It only goes back to the first image. The list of months is directly above the first image.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

I went to your site to see what was going on, but I couldn’t see the page that you were talking about.

Could you send me a link so that I can take a look?

Thanks…but I decided to take a different approach and use a straight-forward link to a new page since the effort was way less :)

Oh, that would explain it! Sorry that it was giving you that much trouble!

Well I hope you had a great weekend. Let me know if you need anything else!
