link to previous post appears above new post title

I’ve created a draft for a second post. prior to publishing. In preview, I have noticed that above the title of the new post (using twenty ten theme) there appears a link for the title to my first post. I cannot figure out how the link is getting there. I tried publishing a test post and found the link is there. Does anyone have a clue how the title from one post is being created as a link on subsequent posts? I’ve checked my header and widgets and the html from all and still stumped. Help.

Every theme here is set up to have links to the previous and next posts.

More precisely, many themes have links to the previous and next posts.
You can disable them if you have the Custom Design upgrade, or you can switch to a theme with no such links – see here:

    Previous/next navigation links (2)

justpi – thanks for the info. None of the themes mention the referencing in their descriptions and I just feel that having the previous title appear looks distracting. A previous/next ref isn’t as distracting. Thanks for letting me know that upgrade can disable and the link that tells me how different themes reference.
