link to privacy policy

I have loaded SEO Automatic on my WordPress site, with Core Tweaks. I used it to put a link to “privacy policy” in my footer. However, I did this before I actually had prepared my actual privacy policy. So now if you click on that “privacy policy” tab, nothing happens. How can I make this link active, so that it will take a visitor to my privacy policy? Do I need to prepare a privacy policy first and have it ready? If so, how do I install it?
