Link Twitter/WordPress since I changed my twitter username

I changed my Twitter username, so tweets in wich I shared my articles display the old username, which is used by someone else now.
How can I do to link my new Twitter account to wordpress, so as preview in the tweets will show the good twitter account?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Are you speaking of Publicize or the sharing button?
For Publicize, go to Settings ->Sharing. Remove the Twitter connection under Publicize and reconnect with the new username.

Toward the bottom of the page is an option “Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter button.” Make sure you have changed it there and save.
If the sharing button still links to the wrong account, let us know both the old and the new Twitter username and staff will be able to fix it for you.

Hi kokkieh.
I have already done everything you advise me to do.
Still, nothing changed.But it doens’t concern Publicize or Twitter button.
But the username that is display when you tweet a link to an article.
Look at the following screenshot : in red, my former twitter username that is now used by someone else, and in green, my current one.
When I share an article on, it displays my former twitter username automatically. How to change this?

I think when you share the link directly it works the same as if you click the Twitter button, so the fix will be the same.
Please give your old and new usernames for Twitter in a reply to this thread so staff will know which change to make. Then please be patient while waiting for their reply. I’ve tagged this thread for them to follow up.
