Link Updating

    Recently our school district overhauled it’s web site. All my links, throughout all my posts are no longer valid. I updated the links that were in my sidebar and most recent posts and pages, but I can’t picture myself going through a couple of year’s worth of posts hunting for “missing links.”

    My suggestion for the WordPress crew is this (and you’ve probably already thought of it): how about a link update feature that would allow a blogger to update a link and have a search engine hunt for similar links and list them in a separate window. The blogger could then check off the links suggested by the search engine, and the feature would insert the new link in the desired places.

    What do you think?
