Link widget doesn’t show up

  Hi all,

  after having changed the theme of my blog at WordPress.com to the ‘Garland’ theme, I tried to include several of the widgets. My problem is that the “Link” widget doesn’t appear in the sidebar. I first tried the right & then the left sidebar, pasted one or two links (separated by commas) into the small field and pressed “save”, but to no avail. Any ideas on how to solve this would be highly appreciated.

  I solved this by using the “Text” widget (which is more flexible anyway).

  First off, you have to add links under Links > add new in the dashboard. It sounds like you were trying to add them in the widget itself. Doesn’t work that way. See the following two links.
