link widgets for blog directories

I have been listing my blog with directories, i.e. blogroll, toplist etc. They all require I paste a link icon into my blog. To that end I have been using a text widget (for their code) and putting them in the sidebar.
Starting to get cluttered, will they still work (to link back to their respective directories) if I put them all in one Page and make that Page Private?
It would help clean up my ‘front page’.Thanks…

If you make the page Private, it won’t work. And before we give you any more details, we need a link to your blog, starting with http.

Thanks for the reply hopefully I am just missing a basic step that will allow me to have tons of links to directories without looking like one of those ‘link swap’ kind of sites.
