Link within text to category pages

  I want to place a link within blog texts that would act as a link to a category page. (A category page or category template being a page of posts all under a specific category).

  So doing the same job as showing the categories on each post, but written into my text, rather than at the foot of the post or in a sidebar. Eg; check out my other posts on lower east side bars

  I’m sure I have seen it on the support site but I can’t seem to find again, and I dont know what the semantics are to search for this.

  First you need to create posts and assign them to one or more categories: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

  If, as in your example, you used “bars” for a category, create the link using this url: https://hetherington101.wordpress.com/category/bars/

  Thats a process I am familiar with… so question answered.

  Does this also work for multiple categories? Along these lines:

  https://hetherington101.wordpress.com/category/bars&restaurants
