Link wodpress.org blog with wordpress.com cousin

  Hi
  I have had a wordpress install on my own domain for quite some time now. Today I activated the Akismet plugin, and in the process, also created a wordpress.com blog. It was fairly easy to import all my existing blog content into this new wp.com cousin.

  Now the question – is there a way that both my blogs can stay mirrored? This means that whenever I create a new post in my self-hosted blog, it gets mirrored on the wp.com cousin as well?

  If I can do the same the other way round – i.e. post in wp.com and it automatically gets mirrored in my self-hosted blog, that is acceptable as well.

  Can this be done? It will be a great help to keep a simultaneous backup of all content…

  I think the answer is that not only can it not be done, it ought not to be done. There’s an FAQ somewhere about mirroring content on two blogs and why it’s bad.

  It’s HORRIBLY NASTY in Seo terms. But it’s fine in terms of backup if you want to make the backup private
