Link WordPress Account to Blog on My Domain

  I have had a WordPress blog for a long time on my own domain (http://www.gardenofegan.net/wordpress/), but have never gotten a .wordpress.com blog. I’d like to associate my existing blog with my WordPress user ID but it only allows you to specify .wordpress.com blogs. Is there a way around this?

  Well, right now when I log into the main wordpress.com site and try to edit my profile, I’d like to point to my installed blog instead of a .wordpress.com site. This affects me later because when I make comments on others’ blogs, it links to my profile but there is no blog associated with it.
