Link WordPress files to account

  Hi,

  I have downloaded the wordpress files and I am going to upload to my server to host them, how do I link the files to this wordpress account? So that when I edit the site files on FTP it also changes on this account too?

  you can install the JetPack Plugin on your WordPress.ORG install & get a stats package and several cool widgets, but there is no FTP access to WordPress.com blogs and you can’t make a site here an automatic mirror with a WordPress.ORG install

  Hi thanks for your response..

  basically i downloaded bootstrap and want to create a simple site using bootstrap theme but using wordpress. for this I heard I need to install wordpress on my server then change the template but after changing templates, how do i link it to wordpress account so i add my website content to it?
