    Howdy!

    WordPress.com does not currently support Google Analytics tracking. However, we do offer built-in statistics showing you most of the same types of information as Google Analytics would display.

    You can view your site’s stats by clicking the stats link in the grey admin bar at the top of your site. To find out more about how stats are measured and reported, see the following help page:

    Jetpack Stats

    If there’s some information you’d like to see added to those stats, please let me know so I can pass that on to the developers!

    Another option is to install Google Webmaster Tools, which contains some of the same functions as Google Analytics:

    Please let me know if you have other questions on stats or if I can help with anything else.

    Best,

    Hello!

    Thanks a lot you’ve been very helpful. The Google Webmasters tools is working pretty well for me.

    If I may ask you a last thing dealing with a totally different thing ; the font on my WP blog (www.opentheory.fr), just underneath “Open Theory”, is kinda blurry. I don’t know why, or if there is anything I can do.

    Thanks again!

    Have a great day.

    Hi again,

    Glad that tool is working for you. :)

    That text is looking pretty clear for me: http://d.pr/i/shBD

    Since you have the custom design upgrade, if you’d like to experiment with changes to make it even more clear I would recommend using Custom CSS. A good selector would be:

    .site-description {
         /* insert CSS here */
    }

    Try playing around with lighter color shades and font families, maybe?

    Best,

    Hello,

    Your picture doesn’t have the same fonts as I do have when I go to Opentheory.fr … Sometimes it happens and I just wait a bit or reload the page.

    I’m not really use to codes and CSS, it there an other way?

    Thanks again

    The difference in what you see and what I see is probably something in our browser setup. I can see in some settings where it would appear a little too thin.

    Without adjusting CSS, the biggest thing you can do to clear it up is to select a new font for your headings. Easiest way to do that is in your customizer tool.

    Under fonts, select a different font for Headings. I like the look of Calluna Sans on your site – maybe that’d be better?

    Okay, so I can’t use the ‘Brandon Grotesque’ front on my blog without having the text underneath Open Theory blurry?

  • Unknown's avatar

    I’m not seeing any technical error in how the font Brandon Grotesque loads on your site blurry. But in some browser setups, especially if a user has their browser set to low zoom, that font happens to look a little too thin and unclear in its current context.

    It’s a design choice. In most situations, like the first screenshot I sent you, the font looked just fine. But if you feel it needs adjustment I’d recommend changing the font, yes.

    Thanks for your help, In my theme Hemingway rewritten can I have a different font for the text underneath my website title ?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Happy to help. :)

    To have those two elements use different fonts, you’ll need to use some Custom CSS. Looking through the fonts available in your Customizer tool, let me know which font you’d like for your site description (the text underneath the site title) and I can help with the CSS portion.

    Happy to help, since this is a quick one. For in-depth CSS changes, I’d recommend checking out our CSS Customization forum:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization

    I’ve implemented this CSS code to your site:

    .wf-active .site-description {
        font-family: calluna-sans, sans-serif;
    }

    Your site description is now be displayed in Calluna Sans.

    Let me know if you have further questions. :)
