Linked Leadpages do not show the Cookie information
-
Hi Gyus,
Hope you have an idea. I have linked my wordpress-site my Leadpages with the Leadpage plugin.
To fulfill the requirements of the GDPR all visitors have to be informed, that there are cookies on the sites. If they continue, they agree with that.
Training videos show, that on wordpress pages the cookie text appears that has been created with the tool “cookie notice”.
On my linked Leadpages the cookie notice does not appear.Does anyone has an idea what to do? Leadpages themselves does not give me an answer. They just say: “we can’t ensure that outside services (means the service of wordpress) will work on the pages”.
Thanks a lot in advance.

hi,
Is your site hosted with WordPress.com ?
It sounds like you’re asking about a plugin. This forum only provides support for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
For help with specific plugins, please contact the support for your particular plugin via :
https://wordpress.org/plugins,
or
the plugin developer’s website. -
Hi there,
The site, michaelpaschka.wordpress.com, was last updated in 2015. What site are you speaking of?
Either way, Leadpages is a completely separate service, and if they use cookies on your pages there, you’ll need to provide your own notice there. Neither the cookie notice for the open source WordPress software nor the one we provide on WordPress.com can be used on other services, and we cannot provide any information regarding cookies being used on those services.
Beyond pointing users to the sticky post on the forums front page, please leave GDPR-related questions to staff to answer.

Thanks a lot. Seems that I have to work with Leadpages. Unfortunately they did not catch the issue yet. There solution is far away from the “Cookie Notice” solution.
