Linked to Anchor – Why are so many of my posts missing?
-
Wordpress seems chaotic and illogical and I wouldn’t be trying it if it wasn’t offered as a link to Anchor where I can post the text version of the short stories broadcast on local radio which people ask for. BUT why are so many missing? Promoting WordPress in its current state is an embarrassment.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I had a look at your site, and it seems that the episodes from 15 to 55 are missing; is that correct?
Could you let me know what process did you follow to create your WordPress.com site? Were the episodes imported automatically and converted to text? How many episodes in total do you have on your Anchor account? -
Hi, thanks for your reply. There are VILLAGE TALES up to about 61? now. but another five or ten short stories not of that ‘genre’. On the Anchor site, once posted there’s a link which offers a ‘connection to WordPress’. At first it wasn’t clear if each post needed to be linked, so I could have ‘linked’ it several times, until I realised it wasn’t making any difference – once linked that’s it.

Given the numbers shared, this might make sense. Anchor only lets us import 50 previous episodes.
Does that match what you’re seeing regarding the amount of missing episodes?
-
Hi, the site states there are 19 published. Ref. previous text, there are in excess of 60 posts on Anchor. Not sure if that helps.
-
Hm, ok, so all 60 won’t import, it’s a max of 50, but of course also 19 is not 50 yet.
What is the URL of your podcast on Anchor?
