The followers listing under your site’s stats currently does not track LinkedIn followers from a Publicize connection – only Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr are supported. Here’s more information on your follower stats:

Thanks for your help & clarification.While I can “talk” with a WP customer rep, I did post a question regarding sign up confirmation email that my French followers receive in both English & French about 3/4 weeks ago & did not get any single reply yet after 3 tries.

While I can “talk” with a WP customer rep, I did post a question regarding sign up confirmation email that my French followers receive in both English & French about 3/4 weeks ago & did not get any single reply yet after 3 tries.
Support Staff typically do not monitor general support threads. We also have a great group of forum volunteers that try to help as much as they can and flag necessary threads for Staff attention. I will review your other thread and reply there.
Regarding LinkedIn – we are no longer able to show followers due to a change to the API on their end. Adding this functionality back to WordPress.com is on our radar, but I do not have any estimates as to when it will return.

Two remarks if I may :
– I always got answers when asking questions (and 100% from WP customer support). But for this post in particular : nada ! Until you did.
– I thought customers (meaning “people paying subscription) were getting better customer support ?
As for LinkedIn, too bad. But if it is a change on their end, there is not much you can do. Hoping it will return soon. Please let me know.
