LinkedIn icon Jetpack Sharing Tool is not displayed in Internet Explorer
-
I am using the Jetpack Tool as Social Sharing widget for my WordPress.
The LinkedIn icon is not displayed using Internet Explorer (confirmed in IE8 and IE9) because it is named linkedin.png but in fact is a .ico
What I did in my wordpress is simply replace the linkedin.png file (that can be found in /wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/sharedaddy/images/ ) with a real png LinkedIn icon.
In this way Internet explorer can display it properly.I have been looking for a specific Jetpack Sharing support forum or similar, but I didn’t find any.
I am writing here because I am not sure where to post it, could someone help me?Every time Jetpack is updated, the icon is replaced and I have to manually override it…
Thanks in advance
