Linkedin Post

Hi! LinkedIn is somehow unable to link directly to my wordpress page. They keep changing my links. e.g. my blog post link is: https://yetanotherdaydream.wordpress.com/2021/04/30/e-learning/
but on linked when I post it, it becomes this: https://yetanotherdaydream-wordpress-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/yetanotherdaydream.wordpress.com/2021/04/30/e-learning/amp/

Hi there!
That’s the AMP version of your site. Are you getting this link only from the mobile app, or does it also happen from the browser?
-
Hello! You’re right, it is on the mobile app, the browser version works just fine.
Is there a way to fix this? -
LinkedIn (and Twitter for that matter) will always automatically use the AMP-version of your site, if available, if a link to your site is shared on their mobile apps. This is because the AMP version has been optimised to load as fast as possible, and using as little data as possible, on mobile phones.
The only way to prevent that from this end is to disable AMP on your site. But you should be aware this can have an impact on your SEO: specifically, it will make your site much less likely to appear in Google search results for people using their phones. And any existing AMP links that have already been shared will break once you disable AMP. In other words, they’ll just lead to an error page, rather than to the desktop version of your site.
The support page that staff-mckluskey linked to above explains how to disable AMP on your WordPress.com site.

Now, I’ve reformatted my colour theme to adjust to the AMP so it shows (don’t really feel like impacting my SEO)… It was previously a peach so it wasn’t visible. Now it is, but new issue… the whole article won’t show? Only some of it does. Any fix??
^^ the links are above

Hey there,
I am able to see the entire article from the quote at the top all the way to the citations at the bottom – both on mobile and desktop.
Are you still unable to view the entire article? If so, what mobile device are you viewing the article from?
Let us know, thanks!

The first blog post link works, but the full article isn’t coming up on the AMP version?? On both mobile and laptop

I took a look at your post’s HTML, and I saw right at the point where the AMP version cuts off, the post had two nested
spantags to change, respectively, the underline and coloring of the link. I’m not sure if that’s the cause, but it is unnecessary HTML, so I went ahead and updated the HTML so there’s only onespantag there. The AMP version will likely take a while to update, so let’s give it a day and see if anything changes. If not, let us know and we can take another look.
