LinkedIn Share Button Not Working
-
Since yesterday, attempts to share to LinkedIn via the regular Share button on each post have failed. Here is the error message I get:
The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
I am signed in to LinkedIn when I try to use the button, and I have no issue sharing directly when I open LinkedIn in a different tab and just paste the link in. But when I click the button I get directed to log in to LinkedIn and then I get that error message.
Using Firefox 32.0 on a Windows 7 machine. God help me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi raincoaster!
Sorry for the delay! This should be fixed as of a couple days ago. Let me know if you’re still having trouble sharing to LinkedIn.

Hi,
I am having issues using the LinkedIn share button as well. All the other icons work. It’s just when I share using the LinkedIn button I get a notice saying the page isn’t redirecting properly.I am using Safari. My blog is: blog.intelligentproductsolutions.com

blog.intelligentproductsolutions.com is not hosted by WordPress.COM. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Hi,
My LinkedIn button will not let me post. I get the same error message as noted in the first note above. Blog is well-beingstrategy.com and I’ve tried IE, Safari and Chrome. Thanks for any help you can provide,

RC,
I’m confused – my stats are on WordPress.com as is all my account info. Is it possible that stats are on WordPress.com and my site is hosted on WordPress.org? Thank you,
Frank -
Hi @fjhone!
That’s exactly what you have going with your site. You’ve used the Jetpack plugin to connect your self-hosted WordPress.org site well-beingstrategy.com with your WordPress.com account. This allows you to use our Stats and other features as explained here:
You may need to clear your cache in order for the LinkedIn connection to be working again.
If you’re still having trouble after that, check out the WordPress.org forums:
