Linking WordPress to Current Website
-
My current website is controlled by someone else. I have no access to the domain. I want to use WordPress where I have control. Want to put link on website that directs viewers to my WordPress blog.

You can link to your blog from any other site by creating a hyperlink to your blog URL – http://rozeelstables.wordpress.com/
However, are you trying to map a subdomain to your blog? Or would you like to add a link to your blog in your main website’s navigation menu?

I don’t know if I’m asking for the right thing, so will explain my situation a little more in-depth.
I think, according to your reply, I would like to add a link to my blog in my main website. However, I don’t have access to editing features in my website.
Way back, I hired someone to set up my website, and I pay a quarterly fee to keep the domain. If I want something changed/added, I have to ask that person to do it . . . thus, the reason for starting a wordpress account. My present website is expensive to maintain & update.
Ultimately, I would like to discontinue the website, because I now update info on my blog. The challenge – my website is high on the search engine list – don’t know if it’s wise to cancel website just yet – guess this is a SECOND question.
