linking a domain after building a website

  Hello, I am interested in creating a website on Wordpres. Just wondering if I can link my domain name after building. Godaddy is hosting my domain and I was considering using their templates and customer support, but from the looks of it WordPress has more options.

  You could work on https://britt.wordpress.com/ and upgrade it to a Pro plan when you are ready to transfer or connect a domain currently elsewhere.

  Hi Britt,

  It looks like you’ve already upgraded and added the domain connection upgrade, but as @themagicrobot explained above, you can leave your domain pointed to GoDaddy while you work on the new site. Then only switch the name servers over to us once you’re ready to take the old site offline.
