linking a giveaway in wordpress

I’m trying to post a giveaway on my wordpress site (I have a .com domain but it’s a wordpress blog) and it won’t let me post the giveaway widget. I thought it was just that I was using wordpress free that I couldn’t do it so i bought a domain, yet I’m getting the same issue with my custom domain name.

That’s a JavaScript widget that cannot be used on free hosted WordPress.com blogs as the software will strip the code out for security reasons. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

Purchasing a domain changes nothing except the URL. I guess you did not read this prior to purchasing domain mapping.
