You can put a link to the external page into a text widget.

Good morning.
I apologize for my inability to understand this but still unable to get this thing working. All I want to do is use an external website as a page in my blog. I have a page called 7 day forecast on my blog and want this page to be a website from the weather office which issues this forecast. I would like to do this on a number of pages such as satallite pictures, radar, etc so this little problem i am having is causing me a lot of grief. -
So you want your page “7 day forecast” to link directly to another site when you click the page? If that’s the case, you can direct link it from the page’s subject title. Go make a link the way you make any other link. Then take all that code and place it in the subject title area of the page when you’re in the editor making the new page.
-
So go and edit your page here:

While in your editor, get the code together when you make a normal link. In that link, link to the website you want this new page to go directly to. Then take all that code and place in the subject title area when you’re editing the new page where it says “Enter Title Here.”

Unfortunately, I could not follow your instructions above. I am not sure what “code” is. I pasted the URL of the website i want linked into the page but it would not work, instead it would just display the actual website address in the page. Very frustrating. I guess the only answer is to have 1 active page that i can update with posts and delete all other pages that don’t require updating.
The page i want linked is http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/city/pages/pe-5_metric_e.html
Is there a way to do that. -
If you had trouble following darrahford’s instructions, here are some more detailed instructions. You have a choice of either using the HTML or visual editor (whichever is less complicated for you)

Place all this code in the subject title when you make a new page. Then when you click the new page tab, it will lead directly to the Weather Office:

Shoot, didn’t work. Try again.

I did try the code tag as thesacredpath said but it didn’t work for me. Okay, I’ll go now.

The Code tag works on blogs, but I don’t think I’ve EVER seen it work in the forum, actually, even though the little Allowed markup guide says it does.

Hello all. I tried all the examples above it still won’t work. I appreciate all your efforts to help me. As was posted in previous posts on this subject, the home page is for posts and the other pages are “static”. I just thought that I could change one of these other so called static pages into a page that is linked to another site and would automatically update itself.
