Linking a wordpress page or tab in website to shopify and securing website

    Hello I have just opened a store on Shopify. It is live and functioning and would now like to direct a created page (shop) in my website to link to my Shopify store.
    For example when customers clicks on the Shop tab in the section in my website, they are direct to shop.mywebsite.com. How can I go about doing this?
    On another note I am getting a Not Secure message when I go to my site. How can this be removed?

    Thanks for getting back. Is there another way to get in touch? To send across more info & the not secure message.
    By the looks of things the shop page on my website is a category within the menu section. Bit confused as to how after adding a custom link into the menu section I can then connect it to the category -Shop. Thank you

    I don’t see any sites under your account; is your site hosted on WordPress.com have you purchased a hosting plan with another company like Bluehost, Hostgator, GoDaddy, etc.?

    If your site was created here, under your account, we would see all we need in order to help you. However, because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere. We can only assist with sites hosted on our servers so, if your site is hosted elsewhere, we won’t be able to assist.

    Hi yes it is wordpress. Hosting Heroku. I have called Godaddy, Shopify, messaged Heroku and they have all said that I need to get in touch with wordpress? :)
    I didn’t build the site perhaps this is why it is not showing under my name. But I am able to change in admin. Is there another way I can get in touch with information more private than public forums.

    To help you along, it sounds like you may be wanting to add “Shop” to your menu and have that item link to your store. That’s done following this WordPress documentation on WordPress.org: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
