Linking and displaying pages

  Hello! I am having multiple issues with my site.
  1. The settings on the site do not allow me to use a button to connect the home page with my project page; I can only link it to a blank sample page.
  2. I cannot change what pages are shown on the menu bar at the top.

  Your site hesterbuell.com is not hosted here on WordPress.com and it seems to use a self-hosted installation of WordPress.org hosted by BlueHost. You can learn about the differences here: https://wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
