Linking Blog to Ravelry site

Why is the blogging site so complicated? I simply want to display my items on Ravelry (which are already in that aite) but they say I need a blog and I have no idea how to “get” a blog. This site is so confusing, I simply don’t know where to look for help! So disappointed :(
