    Hi,

I am trying to take the template I already created through the Blossom Recipes link on my dashboard homepage, and I see the post on my blog page but when I go to see if it is linked under the correct Category options in the drop-down tab on the homepage bar it does not list it there.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes

  • Hi Jessica –

    Thanks for writing to us!

I understand that you are having trouble with linking your blog post to the correct category on your website’s homepage. This can be an issue with the setup or categorization of the blog post.

Here are some steps you can follow to ensure your post appears under the correct category:

    1. **Edit the post**: In your WordPress.com dashboard, go to the Posts section and find the post in question. Click “Edit.”

    2. **Check the Categories**: In the Sidebar on the right, you will see a section titled “Post: Categories & Tags.” Check to see if the correct category is selected. If not, check the checkbox next to the correct category. If you don’t see the correct category, you can create it by clicking “+Add New Category.”

    3. **Update and confirm**: After checking/setting the category, make sure to click on the ‘Update’ button on the top right of the screen to save your changes. Then, go to your website’s homepage and refresh it. Your post should now appear under the correct category in the drop-down menu.
