linking bookshelf to book details

Hi! I wanted to created a bookshelf page (and don’t opt for goodreads or shelfari widget). So in my ‘bookshelf’ page, I inserted book images and created a link leading to book details with my reviews.

I created different pages so I can have a separate URL linking to each of my book’s details.

HOWEVER. By doing this,I just created multiple page tabs. (which I don’t want)

I really dont know to get this done. I need a link…but linking it to a page or a post under my blog wont be a good idea.

    pls help. thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you sure you do not want to create a Category for Book Reviews and assign it to the apprpriate reviews after moving them by copy and paste into posts. Frequently published posts linked to authoritative sources create front page activity that attracts the search spider bots. Posts have Google juice and get backlinks and a blog achieve PageRank.

Static pages are for content that rarely, if ever, changes. They cannot have categories or tags assigned to them and lack Google juice. They do not normally attract backlinks and contribute very little if anything much at all to PageRank.

P.S. There is no automatic way to transfer Page content to posts but it’s an easy copy and paste job.

Timethief. =) i love the idea of Book Reviews category — matter of fact, i’ll use that. (thanks)
Though, Only for the books read recently.

For my back reads, I want to add the details and not bother have it up on my “recent posts”.

If you could please check this site out. This is the kind of bookshelf page I wanted.
