Linking display name to blog

  Trying to get my display name (TriciaMichele) to link to my blog site https://breathinginslowly.wordpress.com/ My username is breathinginslowly. When I post comments on others blogs as TriciaMichele it is black (vs. being a link that will take someone to my blog)

  Any help would be much appreciated, as I am totally new to this!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you go to your Profile page, you can choose the Primary Blog there and that’s the one your name will link to. If your blog has been set as Mature, however, your name will never be an active link.

  On my profile page, profile links, choose which links you would like to add to your profile, my blog with link is already listed.

  Even in this forum, yours is blue, mine is black. Is it because my display name is different?

  No, this would seem to indicate your blog has been set to Mature. If you want to appeal this decision by staff, put the word Modlook in the tag box to the right of this thread, and staff will contact you.

  Hi there,

  At least in the forums, your “Display name” does not show as a link however your account name shows as a link. @raincoaster’s just shows as a link because there has been no display name set at all.

  Could you send me a link to one of the comment pages where no link at all is showing up? I’m happy to take a look!

  The comments are a slightly different reason for why the names are not links. In THOSE cases, it’s because the folks who have provided links back to their own blogs or sites have their names linked to their sites. You didn’t provide a link to your site, so your name is not converted in to a hyperlink. In the future, if you provide a link to your blog then it’ll be a link! :)

  If you log in to your Gravatar profile at gravatar.com (you can use your WordPress.com credentials . . . don’t worry, it’s all one company!) then you can completely fill out your profile there!
