Linking domain

    Hello, I am trying to link a domain I own to this website but on the checkout with a discount code it was like £70 for the year but my partner went on the WordPress site and there was a pay monthly plan and it was £17. I am just confused why that is

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Because WordPress.com charge you much more if you go with a monthly payment plan. It makes more sense to buy an annual plan if you need the features of a paid plan (and want to register a custom domain for free for the first year).
