Linking home page to latest posts page

  I have designed a homepage image that I would like to use as an enter button in to my wordpress latest posts page, how do I do this as I do not seem to be able to find any option?

  Just to clarify I want http://mchristophrous.wordpress.com to bring up my enter image as the main homepage, then upon clicking on the image I want it to link to the latest posts page.

  Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  That is indeed possible! There are a few steps, but bear with me:

  1) Create two pages by logging in to your Dashboard. You can call them whatever you’d like, but for the sake of these instructions I’ll call them “Home” (for your homepage) and “Blog” (for the page that will host your latest posts). Publish both pages and make a note of the URL for the Blog page.
  2) Edit the Home page and insert the image which you’d like to have on your home page.
  3) Once that image is inserted, click on it, and edit the properties of the image (click the icon which looks like a postcard).
  4) On the properties page, under “Link URL” put in the URL for the Blog page which you created. Publish this page.
  5) Go to Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading. Under “Front Page Displays” change the setting to Static page. For front page select “Home” and for posts page select “Blog”.

  That’s it! You’re all set. The Home page you created will show up when people type in your URL, when they click on the image it will go to your blog page, and it will be populated with your posts.
