Linking in my blog post using the new Gutenburg editor.

    I just transitioned to the new Gutenburg editor and when I clicked the little button so I could create a link, all I could do was put the link in all it’s long glory. How can I do it how it is in the old editor where you can put the URL and then have a ‘Link Text’ that people can click instead of the whole long web address? Thank you.

    Hi there, hmm, I haven’t run into that issue. I either add a link by highlighting the words and pasting, or by highlighting the words and clicking the link icon, like so:

    Are you doing that too?

    If not, let me know what steps you typically take. And if you are doing that and it doesn’t work, can you let me know what browser you’re using? We’ll try to duplicate it here. Thanks!
