Linking locally hosted site to online site

  I’ve registered for a premium account with wordpress but have found that I can’t use custom templates on the online version. I’ve since downloaded the locally hosted version but was wondering how i can link my locally hosted site to the online version I’ve paid for?

  Hi!

  It sounds like you setup a self-hosted site using WordPress.org software alongside your WordPress.com site. Those two are mutually exclusive. The Premium bundle trial on your WordPress.com site won’t carry over to your self-hosted site. You can read a bit more about the difference here:

  If you’d like to use a custom theme, you’ll need to stick with the WordPress.org site. In that case, I can cancel the Premium bundle trial so you’re not charged moving forward. Would you like me to do that for you?
