Linking mage to external page?

  I have inserted an image into the sidebar by use of a text widget. Can I now make this image a link to an external web page?

  I found that old thread by using the search box and putting in “image sidebar link”.

  Also note that the blogroll has the option to use a picture for a link. It’s under the Advanced tab when you enter or edit a link.
