Linking Media Sources on WordPress Site
-
Hello I am the administrator of ghostsecuritygroup.com which is a counterterrorism organization. We have many media stories published on our work but I am unsure if it is a violation of WordPress terms of service to place news links that send visitors to outside sources such as Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, etc. Our intention was to create a press page on the website allowing visitors to read media articles on our activities. An example link would be:
Can anyone provide a response if this is a violation of terms of service since it would be linking to external media? Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

WordPress.com support original content blogging. Are you creating your own original content?
Do you have an actual blog or are you using the sites to drive traffic to other sites, which is not allowed?
Are you re-publishing pre-written publicity material?
Please read the types of blogs that are not allowed:
Automated blogs: Blogs that are generated by computers, including randomly generated blogs, blogs that re-publish press releases, marketing material, search engine results, link dumps or any other mass-produced content.
Book tour blogs: Blogs that consist primarily of pre-written publicity material, as opposed to original book reviews, for the purpose of promoting books and driving traffic to other promotional and giveaway sites.
https://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/Posting of some affiliate text links is possible, provided the blog is an actual blog and not just a storefront. Please read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/ closely.
WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.
Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.
The only advertising program at WordPress.COM is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.
