Linking my blog to my other social media accounts

I want to link my blog to my other social media platforms so that users can find me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from my blog posts. I don’t want to ‘publicize’ my posts in the Sharing section of the dashboard, I want my users to be one click away from any of my other sites. Please help.

If you want followers on your other sites to be able to find your blog you have to place links to your blog on those sites. You do that via those sites, not via wordpress. The only option that works via wordpress is Publicize which automatically publishes every new post to your social media sites.
If you want people who read your blog to find your social media profiles you can either add links to those profiles in, for example, your about page or you can add the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram widgets to your blog. You can also add a Facebook badge, a Twitter follow button, and an Instagram badge to your sidebar.

Go to Appearance ->Widgets in your dashboard. All available widgets are there and you simply drag-and-drop them into your widget area on the right of that screen. Aside from that, follow the instructions I linked to for you above, as some need to be created on the social media site first before you can activate it one wordpress, for example the Twitter timeline widget. And the facebook like box only works for facebook pages, not profiles, but the badge can work for either.

I have created the Twitter widget (on Twitter) but it won’t save the URL/ID when I paste into the WordPress widget creator?
