Linking my business website blog page and WordPress blog together.
-
Hello, please help me out. I mapped an existing domain to my WordPress blog but I am not sure it is doing any good, or what good it could do if I set it up right. As it is, I am not sure what my blog visitors experience. I want my website blog page and WordPress blog to be linked together so that one will take you to the other. That’s not happening. I need help understanding what I can do to make the WordPress log and my website log page to be one so that when you open one you open the other. Thank you for your help. I understand there is an upgrade of $100 that you offer, but since I already paid $13 for the mapping of the website, I would like t to take that upgrade in my account to taken in consideration and subtracted from the $100 upgrade. Thank you, and I hope to learn the business of blogging better with your help.

Hi there,
Could I get some additional information from you? When you say that you want your website blog page to link up better with your WordPress blog, what is your website’s blog address (starting with http://)? I’ll be happy to take a look and see what I can do to help, and it may be that you don’t need the additional bundle. :)

http://angelaterga.com/blog, this is the blog page link, thank you for your help. Do I have to upgrade in order to get my profile picture to show next to my blog entry and link?
Thank you, I appreciate your help.

Hi Angela,
You don’t need to upgrade anything at all to get your image to show! If you haven’t checked it out yet, the Ryu theme information page has a lot of instructions on how to configure your theme:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/ryu/
Amongst them, it says that you need to make sure that you set up a gravatar for your user account, which is where it pulls your picture from. You can do so by going to http://gravatar.com and logging in with your WordPress.com credentials (it’s all the same company, so it’s fine to do so).
As for your two blog pages, it doesn’t look like you have created any links between the two as-yet. So there’s no real way for any visitors to either blog to know about the other one. I would create a new menu link which clearly links a user to your other site. That should help increase flow between the two!
