linking my custom header

  Hi there,

  I’d really like to be able to turn my custom header into a link back to my homepage. Does anyone know if/how I’m able to do this? I’m using the Vigilance theme and my blog is http://canelvr.wordpress.com.

  On some themes the entire header is a link to the main blog page, and on some only the titles are a link. On Vigilance, only the Home link is a link. You’ll need to change themes if you want the whole header to be a link.

  That’s a real shame! Thanks for the advice. Maybe I’ll get in touch with the maker of Vigilance…

  @canelvr: It’s not the whole header, it’s the blog title that works as a link to the homepage (in all themes including Vigilance: its maker cannot do anything if you chose to hide the text).

  If you want a linking header, you can only do it via appropriate code in a text widget.

  Also, once a theme has been modified and adopted to use here at wordpress.COM, it is out of the theme designer’s hands.
