Linking my domain

  Hiya I’ve seen there is a charge of £11 per year to link my domain to my wordpress site. There is also a need to upgrade to premium for £8 a month. Do I need to do both these things I order to link my domain? Please clarify. Thanks

  This topic has been confusing a few people (self included!) because the policy for domain mapping recently changed, but existing users were grandfathered in under the old system, so it’s not consistent for every user depending on when your account was created.

  But I think – think, so if someone can confirm for sure, that would be excellent – that while the annual £11/$13 cost for domain mapping used to be standalone and not require Premium, now the mapping is bundled into the monthly £8/$8.25 cost for a Premium account, so you only need the upgrade to link your own domain up if your account was created recently.
