Linking new Blog to my existing website outside of wordpress

Hi. I created and edit my current website on Canva. However, I have purchased my own domain name from Google. I want to start a blog so I came to wordpress. Now I am not sure how to make them all work together. I would like to send visitors between the blog and my site. Can you please help me with this?

Many thanks for reaching out.
It looks like the domain, is pointing toward Canva – and so to point it completely to WordPress.com would show something different under that domain.
Would I would perhaps recommend is creating a blog under a subdomain like: blog.kcareyphotography.com, which is possible to do. It would be a separate site to what’s being hosted with Canva.
This is how it’s possible to connect the sub-domain, from Google: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-subdomain/#if-the-domains-dns-is-not-managed-at-word-press-com
Also to note, in order to set a custom primary domain, the site would need to be on a paid plan, at a minimum the personal plan:
