Linking one page to another

Hi there- I have a static page called “What Do I Read?” I’m creating other pages that I’d like to be listed under this page. I made WDIR the parent page, so the new page (Street Lit) doesn’t appear on the top tabs (which is what I want!), but now I can’t figure out how to direct a hyperlink to Street Lit. (I tried just doing an a ref= with the permalink for Street Lit, but when I did that I got a page not found.)

What am I doing wrong? (Apologies if this is covered in another topic- I did some searching and couldn’t find it.)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need a link to your blog, starting with http so we can check things out.

Oh, sorry–I assumed when I entered that in before posting that it would be displayed.

    1. No, that’s only for detecting and auto-responding to wp.ORG visitors who often come here instead of their own forum. And it’s a very new feature, still under development.

    2. Your link is wrong. You’ve written this:
    <a href="http://baafenwaybooksquad.wordpress.com/what-should-i-read/street-litstreet-lit/">Street Lit</a>
    instead of this:
    <a href="http://baafenwaybooksquad.wordpress.com/what-should-i-read/street-lit/">Street Lit</a>
I guess you copied the permalink from the page editor. Better copy the URL from the address bar of the browser.

    Thanks! What a silly error.
