Linking Other Pages
-
Ok, I have a wordpress blog here – http://mistbay.wordpress.com/ and it is mainly for recipes for friends and family. I also have another section for Laughs (Jokes, vids, etc)
Now I have set up so that the Laughs Link is in the top right area next to the Home button, and I have set up all related content to be under the parent of this main one, but there is no way (I can find anyway) to show the next page after entering the Laughs page unless someone goes to the category column and clicks each one individually. Is there another way to do this? -
Is there another way to do this?
No. Blogs have only one page that will automatically update with each new post published. The Laughs page you have created and all other pages you choose to create will sit outside the blog structure and will not automatically update.
Pages are for static content that is not frequently subject to change. Any changes made to these static pages must be made by editing them. As they do not accumulate posts if you edit them and manuualy add more content to them they will present as one long run-on page. * Also note that static pages cannot have categories assigned to them and that they have no Google juice.
As you have noticed, if you have a “Laughs” category then all posts you assign to that category “Laughs” will be made available to your readers when they click “Laughs” under Categories in the sidebar.

I have been away fro a while and just noticed this. And I don’t think I have said Thank yo, so Thank you for the response. Will have to live with it the way it is or change it in some manner.
Hope you had a great Holiday Season…or Merry Christmas (As we use to say in the olden days)
